Qualified certificates
Qualified Trust Service Provicer EuroCert generates Certificates (qualified electronic signatures) in accordance with the requirements of the Act of 5 September 2016 on trust services and electronic identification (Journal of Laws, item 1579) and in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) No. 910 / 2014, 23 July 2014, on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market, called the eIDAS Regulation, together with the devices needed for this. Pursuant to the Act, a qualified electronic signature used with the help of a qualified certificate is equivalent in terms of legal effects to a handwritten signature.
By using a qualified certificate, you can verify each electronic signature filed by its owner. Verification of the electronic signature is effective assuming that the certificate is valid.
All certificates issued by EuroCert contain basic information:
- Subscriber/Company data;
- Entitlement of the Subscriber/Company;
- Usage of the Certificate;
- The public key included in the certificate - technical data;
